Programme Goals

Demonstrate a working knowledge of the principles and practices of the electrical power industry regarding generation, transmission, distribution, and controls.

Demonstrate working knowledge of electrical construction procedures in residential and commercial installations.

Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and other documents used for electrical installations.

Demonstrate basic techniques used to install, troubleshoot, repair, and service electronic appliances.

Practice safe work habits, identify and eliminate workplace hazards, and meet minimum work quality standards.

Demonstrate basic knowledge of electrical equipment and systems commonly used for electronic communication.

Demonstrate knowledge of basic electronic control circuitry, devices, and schematic diagrams.

Apply appropriate scientific and mathematical concepts and principles in the design, development, and analysis of electrical and electronic circuits and systems.
